A UI kit designed for quick sketching and iterating in web product design.
To the general public, the terms 'UX' or 'user experience' are quite foreign. Because of this lack of understanding, many clients tend to give feedback on how a mockup LOOKS when asked for their review on how a product WORKS.

Barebones was created to alleviate some of this problem. The pixel-imperfect hand-drawn elements and light colors give it a "rough draft" feel, helping designers and clients focus on the user's experience rather than getting caught up in complex UI.
Barebones was created with minimalism in mind. Frivolous ornamentation was discarded. The most intuitive and well-known options for components were chosen, giving designers a good foundation to begin working from.

The wheel can be reinvented later.
While Barebones was designed for the purpose of creating mock-ups and initial user testing, it can also be considered as the UI system for finished web products, bringing a certain charm and human quality to polished screens.
